Since my first steps into art, I have documented some trials and tribulations, as well as the celebrations of gay life. The Homage sequence pays tribute to the passings of gay artists. Both the Portraits & Reflections series use comic icons and superheroes superimposed on "Pride" shots to make both humorous and political statements. The Love that Dares to Speak Its Name looks at significant gay men and lesbians through history. It's Good Looking Back captures couples at rallies or pride events from a different perspective, from behind. Fruitful Fruits also remembers significant gay and lesbian figures through time. And the Flowers for... series laments the violent passings of some modern gays and lesbians.
